IMPORTANT! All fluorescent bulbs contain at least a small amount of mercury. They are safe to use, but must be disposed of properly.
For Wakefield Residents: Covanta Haverhill, Inc. sponsors FREE mercury recycling drop-offs at the Nahant Pit. The first one this year was on Wednesday April 25th from 10:00 am to noon. There will be three more scheduled during the year.
